Exhibition: Homes for Stones

For his agates that he discovered in a village in India, Jurgen Lehl and
16 of his friends have created little 塗omes.・Each one has been made for
a particular stone: a nest of susuki plumes, a bag of felt, a nut-shaped hull,
a handwoven basket. Nestled, cocooned, or enveloped-no matter how small,
each agate gem rests in a container that perfectly fits its size and personality.
